If you are coming to Margarita, I would recommend this hotel, but plan on traveling the island to get a more full experience. There a lot of beautiful places on the island and some pretty good shopping malls nearby, but with the current economic situation in Venezuela, Margarita Island is clearly suffering the consequences like the rest of the country. Margarita Island as a whole seems worn out, as it if had its day years ago but failed to maintain its infrastructure. It is across the street from a very poor quality beach, so you have to drive to find a better place to spend the day on the ocean. It is in a quiet neighborhood with not a lot of action, and it is not on the beach. My only other complaints are about the location. Aside from that, the hotel itself is wonderful. The one problem I had with the room was a poor Wi-Fi connection. Margarita se divide en dos partes unidas por una laguna natural que lleva por nombre La Restinga. En su extensión más larga de este a oeste abarca 64 km y de norte a sur 32 km. Reconocida como la isla más grande de Venezuela con una superficie de 934 km². Our room on the top floor was fantastic with great view of the ocean. Situada a 23 km al nor-este de la costa venezolana. The Tibisay has excellent service and their employees are very attentive to needs of their guests.
